An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a supportive and dedicated Early Years team. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about giving young children the very best start to their educational journey. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:
Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement engaging, creative and purposeful learning opportunities.
Foster a warm, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all children thrive.
Monitor and assess pupil development, maintaining accurate records of progress.
Work in partnership with parents, carers and colleagues to support children’s learning and wellbeing.
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
Hold QTS and have experience teaching in the Early Years.
Have a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
Demonstrate creativity, flexibility and a nurturing approach.
Be a strong communicator and work effectively within a team as a Reception Year Year Teacher.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
