Your Role:
As the Shift Leader, you will oversee day-to-day operations of engineering services across a mission-critical data centre. You'll lead a team of multi-skilled engineers, ensuring compliance, safety, and performance across all technical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of shift engineers
- Manage the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, risk management, and compliance
- Respond swiftly and effectively to critical incidents and faults
- Oversee contractor activity and enforce safe systems of work
- Maintain accurate site records and operational documentation
- Conduct shift handovers and ensure seamless team communication
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure service excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3)
- 18th Edition certified
- HV Authorised or strong HV/LV experience preferred
- Proven experience in a critical or commercial building services environment
- Strong understanding of UPS, Generators, HVAC, and BMS systems
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Experience working in a 24/7 engineering environment
