Summary
A very unique opportunity has become available for you to be part of our team. We are looking for someone to work two days a week at our beautiful village Preschool.
We are currently following the 'Curiosity Approach' and have created a relaxed child-led environment encouraging our children to learn through the awe and wonder of the world around them. We are a Makaton friendly setting and our children thrive under our early phonics interventions.

We are a small village preschool setting in Winsley which is a lovely place to work, with fantastic links to the local community. We offer plenty of training opportunities and personal development for staff. We are a small caring team that work well together and always support one other....If you think you could be the right person to join our team, working part time and term time only please get in touch.
We can offer some flexibility with hours, which can be discussed for the right candidate.
Job description
We are looking for a Level 2 or above, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team, term time only.
Applicants will need experience working with children and be confident to learn to use our on line learning journey system and be a key person in our setting. To assist with the planning of the curriculum using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for guidance.
To act as a key person to a small group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers and ensuring each child’s needs are recognised and met.
To actively participate at team meetings, supervision meetings and appraisal meetings.
To attend training courses as required and to take responsibility for personal development.
To take action to support the setting to achieve and maintain a minimum good Ofsted rating at the next inspection.
To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences.
To ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures.
