We are a family seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker/Personal assistant to support my son in his home and community life. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping a young person grow in confidence, celebrate their individuality, and achieve personal success.
As a Support Worker, you will work one-to-one with our son, supporting him in his daily routines and personal development. Your role will include:
Encouraging hobbies, social activities, and friendships.
Supporting daily routines such as getting ready, preparing meals, and maintaining a calm, safe home environment.
Helping him relax and feel secure in his space.
Promoting independence and new experiences.
Providing consistent, therapeutic care and emotional support.
Building a trusting, respectful relationship.
Working collaboratively with family and professionals to support his care plan.
What We’re Looking For:
A positive role model with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Ability to build trust and offer consistent, compassionate care.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Experience is welcome but not essential – the right attitude and values are what matter most.
