The Role
As the IMA Senior Operations Manager, you’ll steer frontline managers and operational teams to deliver outstanding service across the region. You’ll drive best practices, champion health and safety, boost customer satisfaction, and push operational efficiency to the next level.
Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in…
- Lead health & safety plans with a zero AFR and zero utility strike goal
- Run monthly safety reviews and promote behavioural safety programmes
- Build a strong safety and wellbeing culture, including the LIFE engagement initiative
- Champion 100% customer satisfaction through clear, considerate communication
- Minimise community disruption and keep customers informed throughout projects
- Align frontline teams on health, safety, water quality, and commercial standards
- Oversee resource planning to ensure teams are trained, competent, and present
- Drive KPI performance and implement improvement plans as needed
- Manage cost reviews and lead operational savings initiatives
- Support recruitment, training, and development with balanced rotations
- Collaborate on key projects like Reinstatement, Stores, and Depot strategies
