Teaching Assistant – ALN Interventions
Porth Community School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with our secondary phase pupils with Additional Learning Needs. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the ALNCo to run our ALN base where identified pupils will have space to regulate and access support. The role will primarily involve delivering a range of small group or one to one interventions to support a variety of learning needs.
As an all through school we are fully committed to ensuring all of our pupils are given the best possible life chances by ensuring they have access to a fully inclusive, high quality education from age 3-16. Our mission statement ‘Aspire Together. Achieve Together’ reflects the high expectations that we have for our pupils as well as our culture of team working to achieve our ambitious vision. As a school we sit firmly at the heart of our local community and instil those proud community values within our pupils through our everyday work.
We believe in the power of continual professional learning and demonstrate our commitment by investing our resources in a high-quality PL programme for every member of staff. We value the contributions of every member of our team and ensure our culture of challenge and support gives everyone the opportunity to feel successful in their role.
We are constantly striving for excellence in all areas of our work. We are looking for an individual who is committed to removing barriers to learning and supporting pupils to be able to access their education.
Porth Community School is an exciting place to work and learn. We welcome applications from people who share our values and would thrive as part of our culture
