As a Support Worker, you'll help adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties live more independently. You'll be part of a dedicated team, providing 24-hour support across three services. No two days are the same and every day matters.
Support is at the heart of everything we do. From helping with daily routines to encouraging hobbies and personal goals, you'll bring patience, compassion, and a willingness to meet challenges head-on. This role is not always easy. But its deeply meaningful. As a Support Worker, you'll grow alongside the people you support. You'll be part of a team that lifts each other up and takes pride in every step forward, no matter how small.

As a support Worker, you will have the opportunity to help our tenants to
o Promote their rights and express themselves
o Manage their emotional and communication needs
o Undertake their daily-life skills, such as budgeting, shopping, laundry, cooking, and cleaning
o Engage with the wider community by attending appointments and social occasions
o Make the best of life through fun and laughter
Whether you are helping a tenant shop for groceries or prepare a meal, you have the chance as a Support Worker to develop competencies such as attention to detail and interpersonal communication.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
o Kindness and patience
o Open-mindedness and a willingness to learn
o Resilience and energy to problem-solve
o A keen sense of fun!
o Care Certificate (not essential).
o Past experience of assisting people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour (preferable)
o Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
We seek staff with positive attitudes, flexibility and good written and verbal communication.

SHIFTS
The role of Support Worker is full time at 37.5 hours per week with shifts. You will be required to work a mix of early and late shifts, some weekends and some bank holidays. Some sleep-ins are also required at a rate of £67.50 per night.
SUPPORTED LIVING
The 3 supported living homes are well presented, comfortable environments, with each benefitting from being within sight of a bus stop and there is also free parking.
