Crynodeb
Under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist the post holder is expected to: Treat patients within acute specialties, providing a range of interventions to facilitate recovery and promote independence. Work with patients towards their functional goals and assist timely discharge from hospital.Tasks include personal and domestic activities of daily living, organising and implementing physical treatment sessions from treatment protocols, monitoring patient progress, adapting treatment as necessary with advice from an occupational therapist. The role involves both direct patient contact and indirect patient related duties. It is also necessary to undertake some administration and departmental duties.
