Crynodeb
The post holder will perform a wide range of laboratory investigations relating to human tissue samples. This will include specimen dissection, processing, embedding, microtomy, and cryotomy. The post holder will perform specialist staining techniques, immunohistochemistry and direct immunofluorescence. The role includes performing quality control checking of all stained slides and distributing work to the pathologist. The post holder will use a wide range of scientific equipment in their day to day duties for example automated processors, microtomes, automated stainers and slide scanners.
