Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant looking to step up? A friendly and inclusive primary school in the North Edgbaston area is looking for a capable KS1 Cover Supervisor to join their team this term.
In this varied role, you'll play a key part in supporting children across Key Stage 1, leading small group interventions and taking the lead in class when teachers are away. You'll work hand-in-hand with the teaching staff to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. It's a brilliant chance for anyone considering teacher training in the future.
Your Role:
- Deliver focused intervention sessions in phonics, reading, writing and maths
- Lead KS1 classes during teacher PPA or short absences (2-3 afternoons per week)
- Support daily classroom learning and routines
- Help track pupil progress in collaboration with the teaching team
What We're Looking For:
- At least 1 year's experience supporting in KS1 or a primary setting
- Confident leading a class and small groups independently
- Solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- A dependable, enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset
