Summary

Mental Health Support Worker Ardwick

We are currently seeking Positive Behaviour Support Workers to join our dedicated and passionate team. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are resilient, compassionate, and experienced in supporting people with a range of neurodiverse and behavioural needs.

Role Overview

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key role in implementing support strategies tailored to individual needs. You will assist with daily routines and activities, manage behavioural challenges using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles, and provide both practical and emotional assistance to help individuals thrive in their environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement personalised support plans, behaviour management strategies, and risk assessments.
- Respond effectively to behavioural triggers and support individuals during moments of crisis or distress.
- Provide emotional reassurance, facilitate choice-making, and promote independence.
- Support and participate in a variety of social, educational, and leisure activities designed to build skills and confidence.

Person Specification

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a demonstrable track record of supporting vulnerable individuals, including those with:
- Learning Disabilities
- Autism Spectrum Conditions
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Mental Health Challenges
- Behaviours that challenge

Minimum Rate of Pay : GBP108 per day.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional related references
