Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting a dedicated SENCO to join a thriving secondary school in Southeast London, supporting an inclusive learning environment and ensuring the highest outcomes for students with SEND.

You'll work alongside a strong leadership team and SEN department, committed to delivering quality first teaching and targeted interventions that enable all learners to succeed.

About the Role

This is a leadership position with responsibility for:
- Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2014)
- Leading the implementation of the school's SEND policy
- Accurately identifying and assessing SEND needs
- Developing and embedding inclusive teaching strategies
- Delivering high-quality CPD to teaching staff
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of students with SEND
- Leading the SEND provision and maintaining the SEND profile
- Liaising with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external agencies

What We're Looking For
- QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree preferred
- National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete training)
- Proven experience in a secondary school SENCO or inclusion role
- Strong understanding of national curriculum priorities and SEND legislation
- Experience delivering staff training and leading on inclusion
- A commitment to improving outcomes for all students
