My client, a leading International Pharmaceutical company that focusses on Oncology, Cardiology and Neurology. There is a hybrid position available for a Medical Advisor and Medical Science Liaison Oncology to join their Medical Affairs team. Covering the Southeast of the UK
Mixture of field and office based - Southeast UK
Your new role
As the Medical Advisor and Medical Science Liaison, you will be field/customer-facing (50%). You will be the medical and scientific face of the company, providing field-based medical/scientific support as deemed appropriate within the governance framework. Build valued constructive partnerships with key stakeholders within the medical community and healthcare system, developing and delivering a structured space/ KME engagement plan. Deliver internal and external medical education and medical/scientific information exchange; gather insights to support the company's strategy and to support activities related to research/data generation.
In addition, you will have project/office-based medical affairs (50%) responsibility where you will proactively contribute, enrich and execute the medical strategy in collaboration with management. Develop and deliver medical affairs projects, including scientific communication materials for internal and external use, congress symposia, advisory boards, developing and reviewing medical content, ensuring regulatory compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this hybrid Medical Advisor and MSL Oncology position, you will need to hold a B.Sc. or be a Pharmacist and final signatory ideally.
You will be an experienced field medical professional (MSL) or have experience of working in a medical affairs head office role with launch experience.
You will have strengths in delivering field-led projects, collaborating with cross-functional field and therapy area teams, and a high focus on scientific exchange/customer engagement and relationships.
You will have amazing communication skills and demonstrate strong networking ability and the ability to build strong professional relationships.
Experience of Veeva promomats.
Experience of working in Oncology
You will cover a defined geographical territory in the South of the UK that may require overnight stays.
