Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for one of the largest suppliers of flowers in the UK.
Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to work in Chatteris.
The rates of pay are:
Day shift is paid at £12.21 per hour
Overtime is paid at £15.26 per hour
Day shifts available - exact start and finish times to be confirmed.
Start time is likely between 7:00am and 8:00am.
Shifts may range from 10 to 12 hours.
Local candidates in Chatteris are encouraged to apply.
Transport is available for those travelling from Peterborough.
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, your duties may include:
- Maintaining high product quality standards and promptly reporting any issues
- Accurately applying labels and producing labelled collars.
- Assembling Q-boxes and maintaining smooth production flow to ensure on-time dispatch.
- Operating and monitoring machinery such as bucket and strapping machines, clearing blockages, and ensuring continuous operation.
- Using tablets or scanners to operate systems (e.g., Rubicon) and ensuring all finished goods are correctly recorded and scanned.
- Setting up production runs with the correct materials, including buckets, labels, and packaging.
- Loading and unloading trolleys or pallets to support dispatch operations.
- Maintaining clean and orderly work areas to ensure efficient workflow and safe operations.
- Assist with seasonal displays and production requirements during peak periods (e.g., Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas).
