Summary
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on children’s learning and development within a welcoming and inclusive school environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Teaching Assistant:
Work alongside the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and daily routines.
Promote a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Help monitor and record pupil progress as directed by the teacher.
Supervise pupils during break times, educational visits, and school activities as needed.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
A kind, patient, and flexible approach to supporting pupils.
Good communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
A strong understanding of child development and learning.
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
