Client Account Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus ?5,000 Car Allowance plus Commission
Location: Redditch - Hybrid Working - Travel Required
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5:30pm
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Client Account Manager to join our clients growing team. This is a customer-facing role where you'll be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth from existing accounts, winning new business, and ensuring long-term success through outstanding relationship management. You will act as a key liaison between the client and internal stakeholders, taking full ownership of accounts and ensuring our services meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
. Overachieve revenue and profit targets for nominated accounts
. Identify and secure new business opportunities
. Create and manage annual Account Plans
. Manage customer contracts and SLAs
. Introduce and promote the full range of services
. Build and maintain long-term client relationships
. Monitor and report on customer performance against KPIs
. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence
. Stay informed of customer business developments, competitors, and market trends
. Present tailored solutions to maximise customer value and efficiency
. Act as the customer advocate within the business
. Identify and pursue cross-functional service opportunities
. Manage projects and process improvements within key accounts
. Drive transparency, efficiency, and cost reduction in operations
. Deliver regular reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders
. Achievement of revenue, profit, and growth targets
. Successful delivery of Account Plans
. Consistent new business wins
. High levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
. Effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders
. Travel: Some UK and international travel may be required
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
. Demonstrable success in a similar client-facing role within the logistics industry
. Proven record of exceeding revenue and profit targets
. Experience in growing and developing key accounts
. Strong understanding of B2B environments and stakeholder management
. New business development success
. Full clean driving licence
