CNC Miller Programmer Setter – Great Yarmouth
Contract Personnel are looking to recruit a CNC Miller Programmer Setter to join a market leader in CNC solutions at their central hub in Great Yarmouth.

How does the day-to-day look?
We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering and a proactive approach to quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set and operate CNC milling machines with a focus on precision and efficiency
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring components are produced to tight tolerances
• Select and use appropriate cutting tools and work-holding methods for each job
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure components meet company quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
You will have:
• Proven experience in setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Solid understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and work-holding techniques
• Competent in reading engineering drawings and working to fine tolerances
• Familiarity with FANUC controls is essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Professional, courteous, and reliable with excellent teamwork and communication skills
What we offer:
• Competitive salary circa £45,000 per year (plus over-time available at time and a half)

Monday to Friday
39 hours per week (core open times 06:30am – 5pm) with optional overtime available
