Sense Scotland is seeking a Support Practitioner for our new service in Peterhead, offering 25 hours per week.
This is a 24 hour support service working early and late shifts, sleepover and night shifts, weekends and public holidays via a rota system.
Please note: This vacancy is driver essential and only candidates with a full UK manual driving licence will be considered.
You will work directly with adults supporting them to participate in their chosen activities such as going out to lunch, seeing friends, going to the gym/swimming or simply out for a walk. We want you to work closely with individuals to develop their life skills such as communication, social skills, and ultimately their independence. In their homes you will support with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
