Summary

The role is to ensure the delivery of an effective and timely profession support service to the Education and Inclusion Service in line with legislation, government guidance, council policy and good practice and ensure delivery of quality, value for money and effective services.
You will be part of the School Relationship Team. A team who are central in supporting the delivery of the responsibilities and priorities of the whole Education and Inclusion Service.
You will manage an effective and comprehensive range of functions including providing a professional clerking service for a number of key educational decision-making groups, as well as managing all processes relating to Complaints, MPs letters, Freedom of Information Act requests and any other statutory requests for information from the Education and Inclusion Service.
You will have excellent communication skills, budget monitoring experience, excellent attention to detail, the ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues, schools and partner agencies and be able to deal with a wide variety of situations in a pragmatic and solution focussed manner.
There are two permanent posts available:
• Post one - 37 hours per week, term time only
• Post two - 18.5 hours per week, all year round
