Raspberry Creatives is a Community Interest Company with Charitable Aims of providing accessible Arts, Play and Community activities to the people of the South Wales Valleys. We have secured funding to deliver a mobile play scheme service in Community Venues and parks through Neath Port Talbot over the 2025/26 School Holidays and we are currently recruiting our Play Team for the Summer Holiday Playscheme. Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Play Workers to join our team for a summer holiday playscheme and for sessional playwork at The Art Space in Port Talbot. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with all children, and families, and creating a safe and engaging environment for them to play and learn.
Duties:
- Organise and supervise play activities for children and families around Neath Port Talbot, in community venues and open spaces.
- Engage children in creative child-led play sessions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children and families under your care
- Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy play area
- Support the company directors in daily routines and activities
- To assist in planning, organising, facilitating and leading a range of play-based activities which could include sports, arts, crafts, games, drama, sensory play, pretend play.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 Playwork qualification at minimum
- Experience working with people
- Ability to drive engagement and participation in play activities
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
