This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and resilience of Libraries, Heritage, and Archive services across Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities
As a Culture Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service is effective, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of the community. Your core duties will include:
Project Delivery: Lead and support service development projects that enhance our cultural offer and improve access for residents.
Performance and Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on performance data to support evidence-based decision-making.
Contract Monitoring: Maintain and update the contracts register to ensure compliance and transparency across service agreements.
Service Planning: Assist in the regular review and update of the Culture Service Plan to align with strategic goals.
Business Continuity: Support planning and processes to ensure service continuity during disruptions or emergencies.
Procurement Support: Assist with procurement exercises in line with council policies and procedures.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple priorities.
Confident using data to drive service improvements.
A clear communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Enthusiastic about the value of cultural services and their role in community life.
Familiar with local government processes, particularly in planning, procurement, and performance reporting (desirable but not essential).
