We are looking for a dynamic and committed Assistant Catering Manager to support our Catering Manager and reenergise our team. This role requires excellent team management abilities, a hands-on approach, and a drive to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and visitors.
Duties include:
- Leading and manage the catering team, providing guidance and support in food production and service.
- Supervising food preparation processes in the kitchen, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Training and mentor team members in food handling, presentation, and customer service standards.
- Managing inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinating and executing catering events, ensuring all details are attended to from start to finish.
- Overseeing bartending services during events, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol.
- Locking up and cash management, including cashing the till
Proven experience in a catering or restaurant management role is desirable. This is a full time role but we will consider part-time applications for the right candidate.
