We at Randstad are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join our growing construction operations team in the North Chilterns area, working on a high-profile infrastructure project. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role with excellent financial benefits and career growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee and support junior engineers on-site.
- Allocate labour, plant, and materials in coordination with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman.
- Ensure construction activities align with programme, budget, and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and resolve site issues with senior team members.
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specs and schedules.
- Assist in producing progress reports, programmes, resource plans, and cost forecasts.
What We're Looking For:
- HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Working towards professional membership (e.g., ICE).
- Valid CSCS card (White, Red - Experienced, Gold - Supervisor, or Black - Manager).
- Proven experience in structures, utilities, drainage - tunnelling experience is a plus.
- Strong setting-out and site supervision skills.
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
