Industrial Mechanical Fitter - Haydock - Permanent Role

  • £39,300 with OTE of up to £42,000
  • On call 1 week in 4 with £225 per week on call allowance
  • 07.00-4pm Monday to Thursday and 07.00-1pm on Fridays
  • Permanent job - Haydock

Purpose of role:

  • Strip down faulty and damaged mechanical components, from motors, fan units, gearboxes, pumps, valves, generators.
  • Diagnose faults on components then carry out repairs and maintenance on the components

Applicant Essentials:

  • Very good experience in repair and maintenance of pumps, valves, fan units, generators and industrial mechanical equipment
  • Very good experience with AC and DC motors
  • Very good experience in mechanical engineering related to industrial manufacturing
  • Able to use measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, calipers)
  • Able to check clearances and tolerances
  • Basic knowledge of electrical testing
  • Haydock - Merseyside

£39,300 per annum, plus £225 per week on call allowance, (1 week in 4) superb overtime rates, holiday pay, company pension and incredibly generous employee benefits package.
