Role Overview:
As a Care Supervisor, you will oversee care packages, ensuring they meet the highest standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). You will support both clients and home support assistants while coordinating care plans, risk assessments, and staff supervision.
Reports to: Registered Manager
Supervises: Clients and Home Support Assistants
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct care assessments and develop tailored care plans
- Complete risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance
- Regularly monitor and review care plans for effectiveness
- Allocate care staff according to client needs and suitability
- Prepare weekly staff rotas to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide supervision, appraisals, and ongoing support to care staff
- Maintain accurate records of care planning, assessments, and staff performance
- Collaborate with other care professionals to coordinate integrated support
- Participate in the on-call rotation as part of the established team
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced professional who possesses:
- Proven experience in domiciliary care provision
- Strong staff supervision and leadership skills
- Expertise in care planning and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Familiarity with Carefree software (desirable)
- A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
Qualifications & Knowledge:
Candidates should have:
- A minimum of QCF (NVQ) Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- An understanding of Health & Safety at Work Regulations
