We are seeking a cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for good hospitality and an understanding of kitchen operations.
The role is for 14 hours per week at weekends only, 7 hours per day on a Saturday and Sunday, from 7.15am until 2.15pm. There may be occassions where overtime is available.
Responsibilities and qualities required
Prepare and cook dishes for our buffet across breakfast and lunch.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Ensure an efficient way of working to ensure food is available to fit our service times, working to a set menu.
Be able to work at speed and using your own initiative, whilst taking direction from the catering manager.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste.
Some assistance may be required with kitchen porter and other kitchen duties.
