We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the primary phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the classroom and contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the organisation of the classroom.
Encourage positive behaviour and support the emotional and social development of pupils.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
Support pupils during breaktimes, outings and other school events as required.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working in a primary school setting (desirable).
A nurturing, patient and flexible approach to supporting learners.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.
A positive attitude and willingness to engage with the wider life of the school.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
