We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in helping pupils transition confidently into Key Stage 2, both academically and socially. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
Support the Year 3 teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with additional learning needs.
Assist with preparing classroom resources and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Support the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
Help with day-to-day classroom organisation, including displays and routines.
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents where appropriate.
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably within Key Stage 2.
A calm, patient, and supportive approach to working with pupils.
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
A good understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and expectations.
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all children.
