Role overview


This role sits within our Claims department, specifically the Third Party Property Disputed Claims area. We're looking for someone to lead, motivate and inspire a team of 10-12 colleagues within this department to ensure we're delivering great outcomes.




Job details - you'll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  • Setting and managing colleagues annual and monthly objectives, ensuring each colleagues receives a monthly 121 to address performance and offer support
  • Ensuring that annual PDRs (performance development reviews) are conducted within timeframes expected by the business
  • Managing all HR related issues in line with our best practices
  • Supporting colleagues with monthly coaching and development plans and deliver effective monthly team meetings
  • Ensuring colleagues are accurately reserved in-line with our reserving philosophy and ensuring payments are authorised in-line with our departmental SLA's
  • Managing adherence to departmental work condition reporting and ensuring colleagues adhere to departmental SLA's




Essential skills/experience:

  • Strong background/experience in leading and developing a team in an operational environment
  • Track record of driving results and meeting/exceeding targets whilst keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do
  • Good communication skills with strong attention to detail and committed to own self-development as well as that of the team
