We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented technician to join our expert team in our refit and diagnostic workshop. Don’t have experience with transmissions? No problem – we provide full specialist training.
What You’ll Do:
• Diagnose faults and carry out testing on a variety of vehicles
• Remove and install both automatic and manual transmissions
• Plan and manage repair tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
• Accurately report faults and completed work to ensure a smooth workflow
• Mentor apprentices and share your knowledge with the next generation
• Stay up to date with the latest in automotive and gearbox tech via ongoing training
What We’re Looking For:
• Time-served or experienced in the motor vehicle trade
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical know-how
• Excellent communication and team spirit
• Quality-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
• Full UK Driver’s Licence (essential)
