Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to make a difference in your community? We’re seeking a proactive and dedicated Senior Administrative Support Officer to join our Waste and Street Scene Services team, helping to keep our streets and environment clean, tidy and our services running efficiently.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the council meets its statutory duties while also assisting customers and partners with various aspects of waste management. You’ll receive full training to support key services, including our subscription-based garden waste scheme, handling reports of graffiti, fly-tipping, and collection issues, liaising with our contractors and ensuring the smooth operation of our waste services.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
✔ Strong IT skills, with experience of using databases, online platforms, and Microsoft Word & Excel
✔ Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
✔ A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
This is an office-based role, located at Castleham Business Park, Hastings, where you’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team.
