Teamforce Labour is currently seeking an experienced SR163 Permit Holder for a long-term project in Selby (YO8).
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate to work on a high-profile infrastructure scheme with ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and hold responsibility for SR163 permits on National Grid sites.
- Supervise and ensure compliance with safety procedures under SR163 guidelines.
- Liaise with site teams and National Grid representatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and permit controls.
- Coordinate with other site supervisors and safety officers to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold the following:
- SR163 – National Grid Competent Person (CP) qualification (in-date).
- 3 Day First Aid at Work certificate.
- EUSR Persons registration.
- Proven track record of working on National Grid sites under the SR163 permit system.
- A proactive approach to site safety and supervision.

- Duration: Ongoing work
- Hours: Standard day shifts (subject to project needs)
