Vacancy – Production Line Assembler and Driver
ESS Employment Ltd are looking for a bright and switched-on candidate to work as an Assembler and Driver combining a fast-paced factory environment with driving, for an established, specialist local client.
Duties would include: -
• Various sub-assembly processes of bespoke made-to-measure office chair components.
• Working within a small team responsible for output levels.
• Handling various goods in/out processes in a busy factory environment. These can include but not limited to packaging and quality testing end of line production product before shipment.
• Reporting to directly to Assembly Supervisor.
• Creating unique projects via handmade testing and assembly for specific projects.
• Fulfil part-time delivery driving duties, ensuring safe, timely transport of goods to customers, dealers and/or external partners in a professional and courteous manner.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle
The successful candidate will possess the following: -
• High level of attention to detail / accuracy.
• Using hand tools and power tools to a proficient level.
• Previous experience of working in a similar production/factory environment – minimum 12 months.
• Good team player, self-motivated and shows “can do attitude” to get job done under time and quality constraints.
