Crynodeb
The post holder will deliver shifts from a trauma informed perspective, taking guidance from the team within the managing risk framework at the service. Lived personal/close relative experience of mental health challenges are welcomed.
The post holder will be guided alongside colleagues in the interventions on each shift and will also have senior staff to provide them with ongoing live supervision/reflective practice.
The post holder will lead on some activities in the house and be responsible with others that the environment maintains the privacy, dignity and respect of all those who use the service.
The post holder will work shifts alongside senior staff at weekends when required.

· Build a therapeutic relationship with guests using a person-centred approach/trauma informed/social model of care.
· Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team with guests to develop their recovery plan and promote personal responsibility.
· To work with the peers and clinicians to plan and deliver a range of therapeutic activities that promote recovery.
· To be an excellent communicator, know how to use time effectively, to be empathetic, compassionate and have the ability to deal with situations sensitively.
· Actively promote the rights and responsibilities of guests. This may include supporting with seeking other services such as accommodation, benefits, and advocacy.
· Input guests notes and progress on the Trust’s electronic patient records system.
· Build relationships with the local community and statutory services and connect guests to those resources.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
