Are you passionate about pupil welfare and creating a safe, supportive school environment? We are seeking adedicated and compassionate Safeguarding Officerto joinToynbee School.

OurSafeguarding and Pastoral Teamare central to the progress and wellbeing of all our pupils. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our students are safe, happy, and able to thrive.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a key member of the Safeguarding and Pastoral Team.
• Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in managing pupil safeguarding disclosures.
• Liaise with staff, pupils, families, and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Have outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Have the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion
• Be forward thinking, resilient and able to work under pressure
• Be passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential.
• Hold at least GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
