We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our team in the assembly of wooden roof trusses. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is physically fit, enjoys practical work, and is comfortable working in a busy production environment.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO LOCATION OF THIS POSITION
Pay Per Hour- £12.40
Working Schedule- Monday to Friday 8:30-16:30.
Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the construction and assembly of wooden trusses using jigs and hand tools Measuring, cutting, and positioning timber accurately Working as part of a team to meet production targets Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following health & safety procedures at all times Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred, but not essential Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic Must have own transport due to rural worksite location (no public transport available) Ability to work well as part of a team
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Ongoing Assignment
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
