Previous experience of supervision and waste environment in essential to this role!!
To manually sort materials on picking stations, follow and implement companys policies and procedures to ensure best practice of HSEQ on supervised shift, organise site operations to comply with business requirements & induct new starters.
Main responsibilities:
Working in fast and accurate phase manually sort products from conveyor in to correct picking shoots. Report all hazardous materials, actions and risk to shift manager. Attend training and meetings in regards to HSEQ and the business. Set high standards and example for staff regarding HSEQ, by following companys procedures, manuals, policies. Compliance with all company processes & procedures, health, safety & wellbeing of self and colleagues. Provide instructions, information, supervision, monitoring and support for the staff regarding HSEQ and issues raised by staff. Maintain emergency situations -(accidents, incidents, fires, spills) acts as first aider, fire warden, to comply accident incident reports, near misses, investigations and assist management in disciplinary process. Monitor use of tools, equipments by staff - support and educate them. Environment - follow companies emergency procedures, educate staff, comply drills ensure best practice in use to safe environment - noise, dust, contamination, litter, pests etc. Skills our client are seeking: Positive Can do attitude Willing to learn and fast learning Time keeping, self-managing and motivation Ability to communicate both written and verbally, good attention to details and present information clearly Good organisational skills to be responsible to organise staff workload. Interest in cooperation with the company and staff, team building. Working hours:
2300-0600 (Sunday to Thursday) £15.70 per hour, plus added bonus of time and a half and double time overtime rates!!!
