A lovely family in Milton Keynes is seeking a kind, nurturing and proactive live-out nanny to care for their one-year-old daughter.
You will be working alongside two friendly and professional parents, who work in hybrid roles. They are looking for someone who will not only provide loving support, but also enjoy spending quality time engaging and having fun with their daughter, who is a happy and sociable little girl.
This role is for three full days per week (to be mutually agreed), with working hours from 08.00-18.00 (30 hours/week). There may also be opportunities for occasional babysitting, which would be arranged in advance and paid as overtime.
The family values balanced development and would love their little girl to reach key milestones through a mix of stimulating indoor activities—such as reading, crafts, singing and imaginative play—and outdoor fun, including walks to the park and time in nature. As the little girl grows, you will be able to take her on fun outings and social visits to encourage interaction with other children, always with safety and happiness as a top priority.
In addition to childcare, the role will include nursery duties, such as managing the little girl’s laundry, tidying her bedroom and playroom and keeping shared areas, such as the kitchen, organised. A regular cleaner is employed to handle the deep cleaning.
Although Mum likes to cook, you will assist with preparing healthy, home-cooked meals, ideally involving the little girl as she grows, to make mealtimes enjoyable and engaging.
A confident and careful driver with a clean licence is essential for this role. A car will be provided for use while on duty.

Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12 hour paediatric first aid (obtained within the last 12 months)
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Childcare if possible, experience essential
Days and hours of work required: Three days. 08.00-18.00 (30 hours/week)
Driving required: Yes – duty car provided
