We are seeking to appoint an energetic, driven and passionate practitioner who has inclusive education at their heart. This is an exciting opportunity as it is a new post in school. Working under the direction of the headteacher and SENCo, you will support the SEND needs of children from Early Years to Key Stage 2. This will include supporting pupils who attend sessions in The Hub, our internal provision for pupils with complex speech, language and communication needs including Autism. Your main duties will include: • Assisting in the lead, direction and deployment of the Inclusion Team to create efficient and effective learning support
• Implementing and supporting others to implement the ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ cycle to create the greatest impact for children
• To have an understanding of the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and Local Offer
• Assisting on provision for pupils with SEND
• Supporting in the writing and implementation of EHCPs, Individual Provision Maps and Support Plans
• Communicating and liaising with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally
• Record KeepingWe are looking for someone who: • is passionate about supporting pupils to be successful in their education and personal development
• is committed to inclusive education
• is positive, committed and is able to use their own initiative
• embraces opportunities to work closely with parents, governors, outside agencies and the local community
• has good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
