Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming team. You will be collaborating with a range of colleagues at Hardwick House including our leadership team, teachers, learning support assistants, administration team, and therapists, all of which will support you to succeed in this role. Hardwick House School is a small specialist independent school for learners, aged 7-19, with high functioning autism. We provide a safe learning environment in which our learners can boost their self-esteem, thrive, and succeed academically and socially. Hours: Full-time (32.5 hours), term time only. We will also consider applications for part-time work.Salary: £17,471 - £19,250 actual salary (FTE £23,609 - £26,014) Start Date: 26th August 2025
What we’re looking for: • Experience of working with children or young people. • A proactive, positive and can-do attitude. • GCSE Maths and English at a minimum Grade C (or equivalent), a degree is desirable. • Previous experience of working with children with autism is desirable but not essential. • A commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of everyone at the school.
