Teaching Assistant Ruishton Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teaching assistant on a permanent basis. This is a mixed role working with multiple children.We seek to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and has patience. The role involves working as a general and 1:1 teaching assistant.Key responsibilities include: Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND need as required; Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teacher and SENDco; Working closely the class teacher, pastoral assistant and other teaching assistants supporting the pupil. Please refer to the job description for more information.Experience Desirable:Experience in educationExperience Supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs Speech and LanguageASD TrainedExperience of working with neurodiversity - e.g. ADHDHours of work: Full time.
