We are excited to partner with a well-established and successful bakery company renowned for its exceptional baked goods! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hygiene Operative to join our production team.
This is a Monday - Thursday position, but could switch to 4 days/4off in the future.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitise production machinery and equipment according to established protocols and schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- ⚙️ Follow proper cleaning procedures for various types of machinery and equipment.
- ♻️ Dispose of waste materials and hazardous substances safely and environmentally.
- ️ Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining hygiene protocols and procedures.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- ✅ Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices in a production setting.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately.
- ⏰ Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding role.
- ️ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
