Out of School Supervisor ( After School & Holiday Club)
part time hours approx. 24hrs per week all year around
core term time hours for overseeing After School Club14:30 to 18:15 Mon to Fri with additional hours during school holidays for overseeing Holiday Club team and cover hours available in nursery for those interested in working with our younger children.
Closing date: 18/07/25
Interviews: week of 21st & 28 July
Required qualification level: minimum level 3 relevant childcare / education / playworker / youth worker qualification.
As a valued member of the Honeycroft team, you will play an vital role in helping us create a warm, inclusive, and high-quality play environment for our primary school aged children attending our After School and / or Holiday Club.
Applicants must have:
1) A minimum level 3 relevant childcare / education or playworker, youth qualification
2) Experience of working with primary school aged children in play / and or school setting
3) Excellent communication skills
4) Confidence in their dealings with children, staff and parents
5) Confidence and abilities to oversee and supervise a small team
The job involves:
1) Creating strong, positive relationships with the children, their families, and our vibrant team of volunteers, students, and staff—working together to build a welcoming, inclusive Out of School environment where everyone feels valued.
2) Leading the way in planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that spark curiosity and creativity in primary school-aged children, while making sure everything is well-resourced and thoughtfully prepared.
3) Keeping children safe and well at all times, by promoting a culture of care and ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing are always top priorities.
