Out of School Club Supervisor ( After School & Holiday Club). Part time hours approx. 24hrs per week all year around with option of additional hours during school holidays and cover in nursery.
Core term time hours 14:30 to 18:15 Mon to Fri
As a valued member of the Honeycroft team, you will play an important role in helping us create a warm, inclusive, and high-quality environment for children and families.
Applicants must have:
1) A minimum level 3 relevant childcare / education or playworker, youth qualification
2) Experience of working with primary school aged children in an after school / and or school setting
3) Excellent communication skills
4) Confidence in their dealings with children, staff and parents
Confidence and abilities to oversee and supervise a small team
The job involves:
1) Creating strong, positive relationships with the children, their families, and our vibrant team of volunteers, students, and staff—working together to build a welcoming, inclusive Out of School environment where everyone feels valued.
2) Leading the way in planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that spark curiosity and creativity in primary school-aged children, while making sure everything is well-resourced and thoughtfully prepared.
3) Keeping children safe and well at all times, by promoting a culture of care and ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing are always top priorities.
