Crynodeb
The post holders will work a 10 PA contract based at St Marys and the Western Eye Hospitals, joining an on-call rota set at 1:12. We are looking for outstanding anaesthetists with a variety of subspecialty interests including neuroanaesthesia, obstetrics, major trauma, regional anaesthesia, ophthalmic anaesthesia and anaesthesia for vascular surgery. St Marys hospital is one of the four London Major Trauma Centres with associated surgical specialties, a quaternary vascular service and a busy obstetric unit. The successful applicant will become part of this busy department. The workload demands a flexible and responsive service to emergency and elective work within the operating theatre environment, emergency department and in remote sites. In addition to a broad range of both elective and emergency clinical work, the post-holder will have ample opportunity to be involved in a fantastic range of research, teaching and training, governance and leadership opportunities.
