At Whitehouse Care Home, food is more than fuel it’s comfort, celebration and care on a plate. We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to help us serve up wholesome, home-cooked meals that truly make a difference.

Your Purpose
As Sous Chef, you’ll support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen, ensuring that every meal is prepared with care and served with pride. From roast dinners to birthday cakes, you’ll help make every mealtime special tailored to the tastes, preferences and nutritional needs of our residents.
You’ll also take an active role in planning menus, supervising kitchen assistants, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. When the Head Chef is away, you’ll step up with confidence.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll need previous experience in a kitchen environment, ideally in a care home, restaurant, or hotel. You’ll be confident working under pressure, with a good understanding of dietary requirements and food safety. Most importantly, you’ll take pride in your work and enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of others.
