Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Leeds
Full-Time & Part-Time Hours Available

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a dynamic, forward-thinking GP practice located in Leeds. Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing autonomous, high-quality care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with undifferentiated, undiagnosed conditions.


  • Managing acute presentations, minor illness, and long-term conditions within the scope of advanced practice.


  • Prescribing medications safely and effectively, in line with professional and legislative requirements.


  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including bloods, x-rays, ECGs, and other investigations.


  • Delivering proactive health promotion and disease prevention advice.


  • Supporting the achievement of QOF, Enhanced Services, and other national and local health targets.


  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-focused care.


  • Participating in audits, service improvement initiatives, and maintaining accurate clinical records.


    The Ideal Candidate:

    • A qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with MSc level training or equivalent qualifications.


    • Independent Prescriber (V300) with current NMC registration.


    • Proven experience working as an ANP within Primary Care, urgent care, or a similar setting.


    • Confident in autonomous decision-making, assessment, and management of complex clinical presentations.


    • Competent in chronic disease management, minor illness management, and health promotion.


    • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.


    • Passionate about delivering safe, effective, high-quality care and committed to ongoing professional development.
