A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Ealing, West London is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, support learning across key subjects, and develop the experience and skills essential for a future career in teaching or education.

The Role – Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who require additional academic or emotional guidance.
• Assist in delivering engaging lessons, particularly in your subject specialism (e.g. Maths, Science, English, Humanities).
• Help students improve their academic performance, build confidence, and prepare for assessments.
• Promote classroom participation, resilience, and independent learning.
• Prepare learning materials and contribute to a well-organised and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with SEN and pastoral teams to ensure all students receive tailored support.

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from graduates who are:

• Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) in a core subject or a related field.
• Academically strong, with solid GCSEs and A-Level results.
• Passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in education.
• Confident communicators with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Adaptable, empathetic, and proactive in encouraging student development.
• Interested in a long-term career in education—whether teaching, mentoring, or academic support.

Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work) is beneficial but not essential.
