Job Purpose
To provide comprehensive field-based electronic and electro-mechanical engineering support to customers in the UK installing and maintaining customer equipment.
Main Duties
• Provide mobile engineering support to the company installations in the field.
• React to faults and incidents relating to products throughout the region.
• Carry out commissioning of products and first-line training to customers
• Complete necessary paperwork/IT systems use for adherence to customer support Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Effective communication with support staff ·
• Liaising with customers to provide technical advice and support
• Working closely with the Technical Support Manager to deliver a best-in-class level of support.
Person Specification
• Electrical & Mechanical Engineering experience within a field-based role is essential
• Ability to fault find with an attention to detail and a determination to succeed
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A desire to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• A self-starter, who is conscientious and trustworthy in dealing with revenue-generating products
• A drive and passion for continuous improvement of company products
• Able to work under pressure maintaining a calm persona
• Flexible can-do attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile
• PC Literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Prepared to visit UK Head Office based in Doncaster as required for meetings/training.
Additional Requirements
• Full UK driver’s licence (not exceeding 6 points)
