Your new company
We are working with a primary school located in South Liverpool looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to start in September. This is a full-time temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for individuals who are confident, patient, and committed to supporting the educational progress of pupils, including those with additional needs.
You will be working in the classroom helping children thrive in their learning environment whilst also providing one-to-one support and assisting small groups.
Your key duties: -Implement systems to manage difficult behaviour
-Offer support to the classroom teacher
-Encourage pupils to be focused and involved in all activities and learning
-Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team
-Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
-Hold smaller support groups to assist in learning
What you'll need to succeed
-Full DBS on the update service
-Full right to work in the UK -Knowledge of safeguarding
-Level 2 Teaching Assistant desirable
-Experience working with children
-SEN experience desirable
